Last updated October 7, 2026. This page explains in plain language what this website collects, why we collect it, and how to turn it off.
Signature Shutters & Shades LLC is a family-owned window covering company based in Meridian, Idaho, serving Boise and the Treasure Valley. This policy covers the website at www.signatureshuttersandshades.com. If you have a question about anything on this page, email info@signatureshuttersandshades.com or call or text (208) 755-8583.
If you fill in a quote request form, we ask for your name, email address and city. You can also add your phone number, street address, which product you are interested in, and a message. Those details are emailed to us and a short text alert is sent to our business phone so we see it quickly. We use them to answer you and to quote your job.
If you email us or call or text the number on the site, we have whatever you send us in that message, the same as any phone call or email.
Contact button log. When someone taps a Call, Text or Email button, or scans one of our QR codes, the site records a timestamp, which page the tap came from, whether the visitor was on a phone or a desktop, the website they arrived from, and the Google click ID if they came from one of our ads. It does not record names, phone numbers, email addresses or IP addresses. The file it writes to is stored outside the public web folder and cannot be opened from the internet.
Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies and collects things like the pages you viewed, roughly where you are (city level, from your IP address), your device and browser, and how you found the site. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Google Ads conversion tracking. If you reach us by clicking one of our ads, Google tells us that the click led to a contact. This also uses cookies.
Our web host. The site is hosted by GoDaddy, which keeps standard server logs and adds a small analytics script of its own to the pages it serves. That is GoDaddy's collection, under their privacy policy, not ours.
Fonts and images. Some fonts load from Google Fonts and one image loads from GoDaddy's content network, so your browser makes a request to those services when a page loads.
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. The ones on this site come from Google Analytics and Google Ads. You can:
Blocking these will not break the site. Everything on it works the same either way.
To be straight with you: this site does not currently change its behavior in response to a browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. The opt-outs above are what actually work today.
Quote requests and emails are kept as ordinary business records for as long as they are useful, the same as a written estimate. The contact button log is a rolling file we read occasionally to see whether people are finding us. Google keeps analytics and ad data on its own schedule, which we do not control.
Email info@signatureshuttersandshades.com and ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it. You do not need to be in a particular state or quote a particular law — just ask.
This site is meant for people shopping for window coverings for their home or building. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
The site is served over HTTPS and the contact log sits outside the public web folder. We take reasonable care, but no website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
We link out to places like Google, Facebook, Instagram, Yelp and Nextdoor. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply, not ours.
If we change how the site collects information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
